Abstract:
In order to optimize the coordinated connections of the last train in urban rail transit network, an linear programming model of the last train coordination timetable was proposed based on the temporal and spatial characteristics of transfer passengers and train operation. The model aimed to maximize the number of successful transfer of passengers and reasonably determined the last trains' departure time and dwell time, and the model was established by CPLEX. Finally, a real network of Beijing subway was applied to verify the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed model, and the results indicate that the successful transfers of passengers increase by 12.4%, and the number of coordinated trains is improved by 8.2%. The conclusion suggests that the proposed approach can effectively enhance the last train coordination effects.
