Abstract:
Centered on the evaluation issue of the operational effect of fast-charging electric bus rapid transit (BRT), a evaluation method was proposed based on the running characteristics of fast-charging electric vehicles and the operational features of BRT system. Firstly, the applicability of the fast-charging electric vehicles applied to BRT system was analyzed. From the perspectives of operational vehicles performance, facility level, passengers' level of service and economic benefit, the evaluation index system for the operational effect of fast-charging electric BRT with 9 detailed indexes including substitution rate of fuel vehicles, attenuation rate of power battery and supply and demand balance relationship of charging facility was proposed. Secondly, the evaluation method for the operational effect of fast-charging electric BRT was established with gray cluster method. Finally, the national first electric BRT line in Jinhua was selected as a case for accessing its operational effect. It shows from the comparison with the survey result of actual operational effect, the method in this study can reflect the actual operational effect of the fast-charging electric BRT more factually and effectively than the method for accessing the operational effect of conventional BRT.
