Abstract:
In order to study the rheological properties of SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene)/HON (Honeywell Titan
TM) modified asphalt, two kinds of SBS and HON were selected to prepare SBS/HON modified asphalt. The Brookfield viscometer was used to test the viscosity of composite modifiedasphalt at 135℃ and 165℃ respectively. The dynamic shear rheometer (DSR) and bending beam rheometer (BBR) were conducted to examine the high and low temperature rheological properties respectively. The results show that HON can effectively enhance the viscosity-temperature characteristics and high temperature rheological performance of composite modified asphalt. SBS can effectively improve the high temperature rheological performance, while enhance the low temperature rheological performance to a certain degree.
