Abstract:
To study the hysteresis heat-generating of rubber and its influence on rubber's mechanical properties, based on the analysis of physiological mechanism of heat-generating rubber, heat in the rotation process of a pair of squeezing and contact rolling steel-rubber rollers was studied. The time-dependent rising regular of temperature inside rubber, and the effect of rubber hardness and thickness parameters on its heating were analyzed. The influence of the rise of temperature on the mechanical properties of rubber including hardness and loss factor was also analyzed though the experimental data. The experiment results show that the rubber with hardness of high initial value will get more temperature rising, and the rubber with small value thickness will get more temperature rising, and the temperature rising will cause the reduce of rubber hardness and the increase after first decrease of loss factor.
