Abstract:
In order to study the impact resistance of concrete filled steel tube arch, based on the experimental verification, the influence of four factors including ratio of rise to span, concrete strength grade, steel yield strength and impact mass on the impact resistance of concrete filled steel tube arch was studied. The results show that under the same impact energy, there is a rise span ratio threshold value of
f. When the specimen rise span ratio is larger than this value, the impact resistance of the specimen is basically the same, and it is as the same with concrete filled steel tube beam or column. Increasing the strength of concrete is not obvious to improve the impact resistance of the specimens, while increasing the yield strength of steel can significantly improve the impact resistance of the specimens. With the increase of the impact mass, the impact force peak value of the test piece is almost the same. The deflection becomes lager, the impact duration becomes longer, and the impact mass and the deflection forms a linear relationship.
