Abstract:
To summarize noninvasive monitoring methods for tumor ablation based on ultrasonic tissue characterization in recent years, a variety of monitoring methods for thermal ablation treatment were discussed based on ultrasonic elasticity imaging technology and quantitative ultrasound technology. The monitoring principle, experimental design and monitoring result were summarized, and the applicability and limitations of every method were discussed. Result shows that there are no methods that can be applied directly to the clinic because of the limitations of the precision, cost, property of the real time and other conditions. In the future, a method that can achieve intraoperative monitoring and postoperative efficacy evaluating should be put forward, combined with the existing ultrasound equipments and applied to clinic.
