Abstract:
A 3D printed orthosis in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis(AIS) was designed and manufactured to solve the adolescent scoliosis correction problem, and an evaluation of the printing comfort was made. By using Dr. Cheneau Orthopedic theory, a 3D model of the orthosis was established. And combined with trunk constraints, the finite element analysis of the orthosis was made. Then the author blocked the model and 3D print into entity to analyze printout’s printing accuracy. On the basis of fuzzy theory and analytical hierarchy process (AHP), a subjective comfort evaluation including four influence factors of environment, material, structure and movement was designed. The results show that the 3D printing technology can achieve the manufacture of orthosis in AIS, and have a good performance in geometric accuracy and wearing comfort.
