基于运行效率的通行能力计算方法

    Freeway Capacity Estimation Method Based on Traffic Operational Efficiency

    • 摘要: 在分析传统的快速路通行能力定义不足的基础上,定义了运行效率作为快速路的运行评价指标,并引入了基于运行效率最大化的快速路通行能力定义与计算方法.新的通行能力定义不仅考虑了快速路的运输能力,更强调了其运输效率.结合交通流理论模型和实测数据,从交通效率和交通发生中断概率2个方面对传统通行能力和基于运行效率的通行能力作了比较.结果表明:新的通行能力定义比传统通行能力更合理.

       

      Abstract: Based on the analysis of deficiency of traditional definition of freeway capacity,traffic operational efficiency was introduced as the index for the freeway operation and a new definition for freeway capacity was developed based on the operational efficiency. Due to the fact that vehicle-carrying ability and efficiency are taken into account,the new defined capacity has more advantages. Combined with the traffic theory model and field data,the traditional definition of freeway capacity and the new defined capacity were compared in aspects of traffic operational efficiency and probability of traffic breakdown. It is concluded that the new defined capacity is more rational.
