Abstract:
In order to study the flexural performance of high strength recycled aggregates concrete(HSRAC) beam,experiments of six high strength RAC beam models were conducted.The test models were divided into two groups.The first group included three rectangular section beam models with the same size,strength of concrete and reinforcement,the recycled coarse aggregate replacement rate of the models was 0%,50%and 100%.And,the second group included three T-shaped cross-section beam models with the same size,strength of concrete and reinforcement,the recycled coarse aggregate replacement rate of models was 0%,50%and 100%.The load-bearing capacity,ductility,and failure characteristics of the models were comparatively analyzed according to the test.The results show that HSRAC beams still has obvious four processes of elasticity,cracking,yield,ultimate,and the stress and strain distributions were in line plane assumption.Therefore,the HSRAC beams can be designed according to the Design of Concrete Structures(GB50010—2010).
