Abstract: The construction of rule of law in rural areas plays an important role in China's modernization process.However,due to the impact of some factors,such as national system supply,national development model and allocation of national resources,and the rural social structure,history and tradition,there are still some obvious problems like the unestablishment of the dominant status of peasantry,the missing of the spirit of equality of rule of law,the imperfection of the rural legal system,etc.The future development of the rule of.law in rural areas should adopt the model of promotion mainly by government.We should promote the development of rule of law in rural areas through the construction of a variety of specific systems under the leadership of the government.
