    Thinking and Values——On the Importance of English-Chinese Comparative Teaching Approach in English Teaching

    • 摘要: 试图从2种不同文化背景下的语言在其各自的思维方式和观念价值上所表现出的文化差异中,寻求和探索运用语言文化进行双向比照的对比教学法,使学生更为主动、更为积极地了解语言差异之根本所在,从而培养学生对其他民族文化及语言的感知力和接受能力,最终获得独立运用与顺利交际的能力。

       

      Abstract: This essay makes an attempt to compare the cultural differences of the thinking pattern and values between English and Chinese languages,in the hope of introducing a contrastive teaching method into language and culture teaching to inspire the students to take the initiative to get acquainted with the basic differences between these two languages and ultimately enhance their ability of using English to make effective communication.
