    The Structure of Contradiction of Ma Zhiyuan's Drama about Immortal and Taoism

    • 摘要: 马致远的神仙道化剧中存在着诸多矛盾点,并进而组合呈现为一种复杂的矛盾结构。其中,文人情怀与观众情趣之间的矛盾决定了剧本的构成形态,并造就了作品的意义诉求:超出了宗教的范畴,由此上升为对现实人生的悲悯与关切,对理想的生命意境的探求和拓展。道教式的剧情逻辑及其表层的模式回环与深层意蕴——对生命意义的探视间的矛盾,进一步确证和加深了主题。此超越性主题的最终建立,很大程度上有赖于一批特殊的唱词。

       

      Abstract: There are a lot of contradictions in Ma Zhiyuan' s drama about immortal and Taoism;these contradictions appear as a kind of complicated structure.Among them,the contradiction between writer' s emotion and the interest of audience determines the composition of the drama;it has confirmed the theme of the works:caring for real and ideal life beyond the religion.The contradiction between the mode of the plot of Taoism and deep meaning strengthened the theme finally.The establishment of this theme depends on some special libretto to a great extent.
