    Applying Lexical Cohesion in Discourse Analysis to Vocabulary Teaching and Learning

    • 摘要: 从语篇和词汇衔接的定义入手,根据韩礼德和哈桑提出的词汇的复现和词汇的重现的这2类词汇衔接形式,重点讨论了他们的定义、在语篇中的表现形式、各自实行的功能以及对外语教学的启示,以此为外语学习中的词汇教学提供一种新的思路。

       

      Abstract: In recent years,increased attention has been given to the need to place lexis more centrally within college English teaching.It makes little sense to learn words out of context.This paper first introduces the definition of text and lexis,with an emphasis on classification of lexical cohesion based on Hilliday and Hasan's theory.In analyzing the devices of lexical cohesion in each text,the lexical cohesion approach indeed offers a new perspective to FLT.
