Abstract: Ecological values with the elements and functions of the values are the reaction and evaluation of the relationship between the value of the specific subject and object of the man and the nature.It is one kind of values and also the component of the modern values system.Through the analysis of the connotation and function of ecological values,the important position and role of the ecological values in the value system has been determined.It is an integral part of the value system of the socialism with Chinese characteristics.The research of the relationship between man and nature in the value system can not only enrich the connotation and the content,but also can be the needs of building a socialist value system scientifically.
