Abstract:
This paper measures the provincial employment quality level in China by an unbiased weighting method based on cross entropy, empirically analyzes the impact of the development of artificial intelligence on the employment quality and makes a thorough inquiry of the moderating effect of digital governance in the process of AI development affecting employment quality. It is found that the employment quality of each province in China has been steadily improved, and the distribution of employment quality is highly consistent with that of urban agglomeration. The development of artificial intelligence is conducive to the improvement of employment quality. Improving workers' remuneration and labor protection is an important mechanism for the development of artificial intelligence to improve employment quality. The positive effect of AI development on employment quality depends on the local level of digital governance. The higher the level of digital governance, the greater the positive effect of AI development on employment quality. Therefore, in order to continuously promote the development of artificial intelligence and employment quality in the same direction, it is necessary to strengthen the construction of urban circles and narrow the differences in employment quality between regions, improve the social security system and labor protection with the help of artificial intelligence technology, raise the level of digital governance and promote the high-quality development of technology and employment.
