Abstract: This paper first analyzes credit in moral and legal sense, then investigates what causes the credit crisis, points out that the source of credit crisis lies in the lack of spirit on rule of law, and eventually proposes that the whole society should advocate the spirit on rule of law with rationality as its core so as to eliminate credit crisis.
