    Self-confidence and L2 Acquisition

    • 摘要: 在众多学习者自身因素中,自信是其中最显著的因素之一。自信与第二语言获知之间关系密切。自信的不同变化将导致学习过程中2种截然不同的语言学习循环:良性循环和恶性循环。大学英语教学过程中,为确保语言学习的良性循环,教师当尽力营造理想的学习环境,尽力做到因材施教,同时尽力以语言教育和“人”的教育为其双向教学目标。

       

      Abstract: Among all learner factors,self-confidence is one of the most salient ones.Learner's self-confidence has a close relationship with his L2 acquisition.Different degrees of self-confidence may form two distinctive learning circles:a virtuous one and a vicious one. To ensure a virtuous learning circle,college English teachers should try to cultivate an ideal learning environment;to tailor varying teaching methods to individual students and to bosom dual aims in his (her) teaching-linguistic education and "personhood" education.
