Abstract: China became a member of WTO on November 11, 2001, and from then Chinese economy has been combined with international economy more closely. Many Chinese industries will get the valuable opportunities of development, especially the textile industry. But because of the difference in industrial foundation and resource conditions among different regions, the development of different type of the textile industry in different province will be more unbalanced. On the basis of the above, DEA model is used to evaluate the comprehensive operating efficiency of the state-owned enterprises, the collective enterprises and the Chinese-foreign joint ventures in different regions. At the end, some suggestions about how to improve such conditions are put forward.
