Abstract: Since there is not a generally recognized definition of corporate failure, different researchers use different definition such as bankruptcy, corporate crisis, finance distress, deficit, default, poor performance and corporate distress. Based on the collecton and analysis of those definitions, this paper try to give a general definition of corporate failure.
