Abstract: Of the varieties of factors affecting the success of English study, learning strategy is a very important one. The authors, through investigation by guestionaire in the advanced class of Grade 2001,face to face talk with the students or organizing them to discuss, have made great effort to discover what advantageous strategies the successful learners have used, One of the goals is to make not-so-successful students become aware of successful learning stralegies and eventually experiment with them to explore the most effective and efficient ways to themselves. Learning the conlrast of students' studying strategies will also help instruclors with their English teaching.
