Abstract: Whether the indexing of key words in academic periodicals is accurate or not will directly influence their exchange and citation rate. In order to enhance the quality of key words indexing, and therefore, to enhance the application value, this paper makes a tentative study on the existing problems in the key words indexing of academic periodicals.
