Abstract: This paper expounds the international situation that the development of Chinese manufacturing industry confronts, points out the problems existing in the industry, and proposes the authors' view points about how to deal well with the relations between the industry and high & new technology, and between the development of the industry and the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure, etc.
