Abstract: By studying risk types, characteristiccs and potential factors of large venue events, this paper made a risk management procedure of risk identification, risk assessment and risk response taking Olympic sports stadiums in G University as an example from the identification risk by risk Checklist, the assessed risk by comparing to the application of risk matrix and theaccident tree analysis, the measures are proposed. Finally, based on potential risks of Olympic sports stadiums in G University, the paper puts forward the corresponding risk response strategies that are enhancing fire protection measures, strengthening security management, strengthening students’ awareness of security and self-defense capability.
