Abstract:
Policy documents altmetrics is an important part of the current hot topic of research, mainly by measuring the frequency of mention of academic achievements in policy documents to measure its influence in policy. The measurement data of Altmetric.com Platform 2012-2017 was used as the main research object, and the multi-level distribution of the metadata of the academic achievements being used is taken into account from the results carrier, content object, creative subject, and funding sources, as well as the academic achievements, it reveals the extent to which the government pays attention to the academic achievements and the difference in the use efficiency, and measures the relevance and differences of the utilization indexes of academic achievements at different levels. The study found that the academic achievements of medical and health sciences, "The Lancet" journal, "Harvard Univ" institution, and "National Institutes of Health" funding agency were used more frequently by policy documents; the United States and the "World Health Organization" institution were the main use targets of policy documents and were mostly localized. The National Institutes of Health, a funding agency, is primarily referred to by the United States and the National Academies Press. The academic achievements of China are mainly used by Switzerland. The academic achievements of the National Natural Science Foundation of China are mainly mentioned in the USA policy documents, and the utilization efficiency of institutions is relatively low. As a whole, the correlation between the traditional and altmetrics indicators of academic achievements is relatively strong, and the focus of attention in the academic and political has converged.
