Abstract: Subject construction is the basic construction and the theme of construction and development of our university, which contributes to the whole development of our university in the long run. This paper, combining the subject construction of our university during the ninth five-year plan period, gives some suggestions on how to strengthen subject construction in subject orientation, faculty construction, science and research, base construction and quality assessment in subject construction during the tenth five-year plan period.
