Abstract: The concept of social construction, its subject, principles, objectives, guarantees, mobilization mechanism as well as important means of social construction are tentatively defined in this article. It also further explains several major areas in social construction: the adjustment and construction of social structure, social mobility mechanism construction, social organization system construction, coordinating mechanism construction of benefit relations between different social strata, social cause construction, social security system construction, community construction, social safety system construction and social administrative mechanism construction. This article argues that we should advance social construction just like we advance economic construction in order to change the current situation that social development and social construction lag behind economic development and economic construction and to make them develop coordinately.
