Abstract: This essay starts from the origin of E-commerce and continues to explore it on the basis of economics. Furthermore, it makes, some analyses on two of the most controversial problems in the academic circle: Is E-commerce a brand-new industry? What are the differences and relations between E-commerce and the traditional business?
