Abstract:
China's society building, since raised in 2010, has shown the character of being dominated by the governments, which can be called 'the society built by state'. It is not unique in Mainland China but also in Taiwan. This paper, in the case study on Taiwan, discusses about the periodic constructions, characteristics and the problems in the social construction dominated by the government, which is not only a practical example for Mainland China in encouraging the growth of the middle class and the economic organizations, leading community construction and the development of the social organizations, and gradually promoting the fully public services, but also warns that the state-led society building can hardly drive the generation of the self-promoted community organizations, and that governments might have a heavy financial burden caused successively.
