Abstract: In Republic of China,the study of community morphology is an important trail to find indigenous social resource by the Chinese scholars of sociology and anthropology as an important response to western challenge.As the parallel to Sociology, "Qun Xue" is a new study which is introduced by Chinese intellectual community to face the issues of modernity.Sociology became an academic method with Chinese character because of the social conditions and the political situation,namely,through the study of community morphology to speculate the changing society and its people,specifically referring to population,family,social cooperation,poverty relief etc.The practical character of the community study in Republic of China has already been the tradition of Chinese Sociology and Anthropology studies,which is that researchers have to base on their social lives and then make dialogues to the studies of international academic with solid researching foundation.
