Abstract: The purpose of studying the ideological system and its characteristics is to digest and evolve the cultural essence of strategies in Qin Dynasty.This paper applies the research approach of analyzing, induction,contrast and argumentation to conducting deep-level research.Strategists in Qin Dynasty not only remain its own characteristics,but also put much concern over absorbing rational core from other schools to enrich and develop their theory.Although the military strategists interact with the various schools,such as Confucianism,Legalism,Taoist school,scholars on five element theories in varying degrees,their thoughts form in the way of war art and tricks.Therefore,military strategists and various schools have the similarities in expressive phrases,yet the differences of connotations exist comparatively. The great difference lies in the opposition of the principles of material gains against advocating humanism if the military strategists are compared with various schools.Therefore,this determines the discrepancy in military thoughts,namely the difference between stressing the operation and pursuing the thoughts towards military practices.Key words;military strategist;Qin Dynasty;various schools;developing and discarding.
