Abstract: The Revolutionary Hero Legend Novels in the Chinese Literature in the past 17 years attempted to seek modernity, and described mythology about the revolution from new angles. This have great value in the Chinese Contemporary Literary History. However, hidden behind the revolutionary narration are traditional patterns. Wandering between revolutionary narration and traditional patterns becomes a narrative strategy in the Revolutionary Hero Legend Novels. Obviously, the Revolutionary Hero Legend Novels is a successful case that the folk resource was integrated with the mainstream of the ideology.
