Abstract:
Since the reform and opening up, our society has had a profound change and contemporary youth’s national identity formed different characteristics because of the different influence factors. The data results show that, the family income per head, whether they have received higher education and the use frequency of traditional media all have significant influence on the contemporary youth’s national identity. The family income per head, the degree of education and the use frequency of traditional media have negative correlation with the national identity. The youth,whose family income per head is higher,who received education and has highly frequent use of the traditional media, demand more stringent of the national identity. Besides, among the three factors of economy, social structure and culture, the cultural factor has the highest impact on the contemporary youth’s national identity.
