Abstract: Special economic zone has been the test base of reform and opening-up in China. Deng Xiaoping' s thought of special economic zone,which is formed during the establishment of special economic zone,works as the precursor of reform and opening-up and promotes the ideological liberation of the whole party and the national people.With the guidance of Deng Xiaoping' s thought of special economic zone,China successfully implements a progressive,ladder-forward,and step-by-step opening strategy and forms a multitiered,all-dimensional opening pattern.Meanwhile,Deng Xiaoping' s thought of special economic zone provides the theoretical basis for the establishment of the general target of our socialist market economic system reform,and ensures the development of China's reform and opening-up in a healthy way.Also,with the development and improvement of Deng Xiaoping's thought of special economic zone,"one country,and two systems" theory was formed,making Chinese government probe from special economic zone into special administrative region,and accelerating the historical process of peaceful national reunification.
