Abstract:
The paper surveys the intercultural adaptation and affecting factors of international students at a university in Beijing through questionnaires,which are designed from five aspects including international students' motivations of studying in China,personal elements,social elements,universities' different management models and regional differences.Through data analysis,the authors summarize the cultural barriers that international students are confronted with.The paper may provide reference for international students' adaptation in China and it also provides suggestions for improvement of intercultural management skills and education quality of Chinese universities' faculty and staff,which would help international students adapt to China better and more effectively.
