Abstract: Cultural industry is a special rising industry belonging to service industry. Study of its development, which has aroused general interests of our central government and local governments, has a crucial practical significance. This paper clarifies the notions of general culture, specific culture and cultural industry and in the development the speciality of cultural industry. Further more, the author offers a comparison of international experiences of cutural industry and forecasts its developing prospect.
