Abstract: On more closing to her first Olympic Games,Beijing is speeding up her modernization.An unavoidable problem is how to balance the modernization and protection of historic sites.To bulled up livable city and maintain sustainable development,we are demanded to do more on protecting Beijing's historic and cultural sites.In this article you will have a look at the process of protection of the historic sites and how the protection is on in Beijing.Based on this the author will do some analysis,and work out his own proposal on Beijing's historic and cultural sites' protection.
