Abstract: Since the 18th National Congress of the Party of China (hereafter, CPC), the CPC has put culture in a more prominent strategic position in the process of Chinese modernization. The CPC has made the culture an important content of the five-sphere integrated plan and the four-pronged comprehensive strategy, an essential fulcrum to promote high-quality development, a crucial factor in meeting people′s ever-growing needs for a better life, and a source of strength for overcoming risks and challenges. The CPC has deeply integrated China′s excellent traditional culture, revolutionary culture, and advanced socialist culture, and pooled the strong cultural power and spiritual motivation of Chinese modernization, which is reflected in the spirit of humanism, struggle, innovation, inclusiveness, and peace. Suggestions are made in conclusion to strengthen the cultural narrative of Chinese modernization, establish correct cultural narrative thinking, promote the innovation of discourse, path, and strategy, and greatly enhance the cultural driving force, communication power, and international influence of Chinese modernization. Also, to further strengthen the cultural power of Chinese modernization, the correct direction of cultural development should be adhered to and the path of cultural promotion innovated.
