Abstract: Based on the industry life cycle theory, the author studies and judges the current development stage of China′s network security industry and the possible development trend in the future. The research points out that after 30 years of development, the industry has shown a good development trend of rapid expansion of industrial scale, rich and diverse product supply and continuous strengthening of policy support. It is generally in the middle of the growth stage of the industrial life cycle. At the same time, there are also some problems, such as the low degree of industrial agglomeration, the industrial chain needs to be improved, the talent supply and innovation ability need to be strengthened. Entering the "14th five year plan" period, the development of China′s network security industry needs to be closely linked with the new generation of information technology revolution, deeply integrated into the " double cycle " development pattern, actively respond to the challenges brought about by the global economic downturn and domestic mechanism reform. The paper puts forward all-round countermeasures and suggestions on the new type infrastructure construction, professional personnel training, industrial technology innovation, market subject cultivation, statistical standard normalization and overseas market development, so as to comprehensively promote the high-quality development of network security industry and build a security barrier for the construction of network power and digital China.
