Abstract:
It is of great theoretical and practical significance for the government to optimize the distribution structure of high-speed rail network and promote the manufacturing industry high-quality development to study the dynamic effect of high-speed rail network densification on the corporate innovation of manufacturing industry along the line. Based on dynamic effects of time and space dimensions, this paper studies the effect of high-speed rail network on the manufacturing corporate innovation. Results show that: First, there is an inverted U-shaped effect of high-speed rail network density on the manufacturing corporate innovation; Second, for cities in eastern China and with low TFP, the inverted U-shaped effect of high-speed rail network on the manufacturing corporate innovation is more prominent; Thirdly, the high-speed rail network leads to the dynamic change of innovation structure among enterprises in cities along the line, which is an important mechanism for the high-speed rail network to dynamically affect the manufacturing corporate innovation along the line. This paper provides an important reference for the government how to optimize the distribution structure of high-speed rail network and corporate innovation structure, and stimulate the innovation vitality of manufacturing enterprises.
