Abstract: 2020 is a unique year, which is also the year for China to finish building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. China's economic and social development in 2020 is evaluated, including: the major strategic achievements in fighting against the Covid-19; taking the lead in economic recovery in the world; making positive financial policies more positive and promising; winning the battle against poverty; decisive progress in scientific and technological innovation; significant progress in agricultural modernization; more comprehensive industrial strength; livelihood security benefits for all people; actively expanding domestic demand; making great achievements in the construction of ecological civilization; making great progress in opening-up; making important breakthroughs in reform; making great historic achievements in finishing a moderately prosperous society construction in all respects; and challenges at home and abroad in the future. The research shows that China achieves the goals of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects on schedule in 2020 and makes historic achievements.
