Abstract:
During the outbreak of a major epidemic, the village's social exclusion manifested itself in refusing to interact with the villagers who had been released from segregation, taking measures to close households, reporting normal behaviors of quarantined persons, and forcibly persuading returnees. The formation mechanism of village social exclusion includes trigger mechanism, empathy mechanism, trust mechanism and strengthened control mechanism. Through the above four mechanisms, the uncertainty risk of the epidemic situation has been continuously magnified, making villagers more severely socially excluded from others. Village social exclusion affects the unity of the village community and exacerbates the rift in the village community. In the future, coordination and co-governance should be considered through multiple subjects such as grassroots governments, village societies, and individual villagers, to form a joint governance force, continuously improve social maturity, and reduce village social exclusion and discrimination.
