Abstract:
The Chinese economic growth shows some significant imbalances in regions due to market-centered, semi-market-centered and non-market areas in its development. Farmers in different areas may face different opportunities in jobs, and need different strategies to it, which leads to differences in farmers' incomes, their business and even their marriages. Besides the labor markets, commerce goods markets and marriage markets defined already in the country, dividing into market-centered、semi-market centered and non-market centered areas might offer some better understandings to regional imbalances in farmers' incomes, marriages, employments and generation-between relations.
