Abstract: In order to construct a scientific and national evaluation mechanism to promote the professionalization of the social work, this research, based on the social work evaluation practice of Xiamen, presents the implementation of the local social work evaluation to rethink the evaluation problems, then it finds that the present evaluation mechanism of the social work service has such problems:There is dislocation and absence of the assessment subject, the assessment team is uneven, the evaluation criteria are inadequate and the evaluation process needs to be standardized. On the basis of the research, this paper puts forward the relevant optimization strategy from the two aspects of the evaluation perspective and the content dimension, and tries to adjust the optimized strategy on the original evaluation method. It comes up with the social work evaluation transition project which is mainly about project grants so as to improve the integrality of the social work service evaluation mechanism and make sure that it can achieve both the performance appraisal and profession growth.
