Abstract: In order to improve the technology of Chinese traditional manufacturing industry and extensively apply the laser manufacturing technology to industrial production, the author introduces the recent development of the application of laser manufacturing technology and system in the internal and external, stresses the importance of laser beam quality in industry and points out that the constant progress of laser manufacturing system is just the process of constant improvement of laser beam quality; On the other hand, more extensive application of laser technology and ultra-short and ultra-fast laser source are considered the forward position of this science. Finally, some suggestions are put fomward to give reference to government, enterprises and research units.
