质子交换膜燃料电池钛基双极板改性涂层研究进展

    Research Progress of Modified Coatings on Titanium-based Bipolar Plates for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells

    • 摘要: 质子交换膜燃料电池(proton exchange membrane fuel cells, PEMFC)作为一种高效利用氢能的途径, 具有广阔的应用前景。双极板(bipolar plate, BP)是其中重要组成部件。金属双极板因其具有机械强度高、导电导热性好、加工技术成熟的优点备受关注, 钛及钛合金材料因具有比强度高、耐酸腐蚀、对催化剂无毒害作用的特点具有很大潜力。总结了近年国内外针对钛基材料双极板进行涂层改性的研究进展, 阐述了多种涂层材料, 包括金属涂层、碳基涂层、过渡金属氮化物涂层、高聚物涂层的应用, 归纳了涂层制备方法及其在导电性、耐腐蚀性、疏水性能方面的特点, 为钛基双极板改性涂层的工艺设计提供参考, 为精确调控涂层与基材结构及其性能提供依据, 为实现与推进PEMFC实际生产应用奠定基础。

       

      Abstract: Proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) is a way to use hydrogen energy efficiently. Bipolar plate (BP) is an important component. Metal bipolar plate has attracted the attention of many researchers because of its advantages of high mechanical strength, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and mature processing technology. Titanium and titanium alloy materials have the characteristics of high mechanical strength, acid corrosion resistance and non-toxic effect on catalysts, and have great potential in the application of BP. This paper summarized the research progress of coating modification on titanium-based bipolar plates, described the application of a variety of coating materials, including metal coating, carbon-based coating, transition metal nitride coating and polymer coating, and also summarized the coating preparation methods and the characteristics of various coatings in terms of electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance and hydrophobic properties. This paper provided a reference for the process design of titanium-based bipolar plate material modified coating for PEMFC.
