Abstract:
At present, self-service equipment is not easy to find and spaces are crowded in the self-service ticket space of railway passenger stations, which affects the efficiency of station use and reduces the comfort of passengers. To solve these problems, this paper conducts a systematic study on the self-service ticket space of railway passenger stations. First, three railway passenger stations in Beijing were researched. By using the method of observation, the location, quantity, failure of self-service ticket equipment, layout of self-service ticket space and guiding signs as well as the use and management were observed and recorded. Second, three problems were sorted out in equipment setting, space layout along with use and management, and deep reasons causing the problems were analyzed. Finally, the coping strategies were put forward in turn to solve the three problems.The research results can be used as a basis for the space design, transformation, use and management of self-service ticket space of railway passenger stations.
